Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

Ha, ha! Came out OK. I think there was too much meat for the crock pot. 3/4 of it was fork ready. I had to slice 1/4 of it. It needed another couple of hours. Tasted pretty good though. Cole slaw was very good.

Looks awesome! One thing I want to try with pulled pork is using root beer to marinate.

Awesome. I love the low and slow recipes. My smoker gets a lot of use for pork shoulders to serve pulled. 8 lb will usually go at least 12 hours, but I've had them go 15 before. But it's so worth the wait.

Yeah, it definitely could have used a few more hours. Tasted pretty good though...

                            Thanks --

                            Amish Slaw:

                            Cook for 3 minutes:

                            1 white onion finely chopped
                            3/4 cup olive oil
                            1 cup white vinegar
                            1 TBSP white sugar
                            1 TBSP celery seed
                            1 TBSP Sea Salt
                            1 TBSP dijon mustard

Cool completely and then mix with

                            Shredded green cabbage and carrots
                            1 cup white sugar

Refrigerate for several hours before serving
