Well it looks like I going to put this on hold as I want something a little bigger such as a 17 or 18 foot possibly something bigger in all my idea size I would love to get would be a 21 foot Bass boat but that is going to be way out of my price range so I settle for something in the 18 foot range,I am just going to save the money I have now to go towards a bigger boat and try to put away a little money each month if I can do it.
My plans would to see if I can get enough money saved up before next summer to find what I want,so for the time being I going to use my little 14 foot aluminum boat with the Johnson 5.5hp ..by the way I want to Thank Cgrutt for the Johnson 5.5hp,I am also having the motor worked on,it did start up but the carburetor needs to have a really good thorough cleaning as it was pretty gummed and would not stay running up along with a good tune up such as plugs, wires etc..So once it is all done it should be in top running condition..

I went years with a 12' rowboat on the creek with a trolling motor. Then I got a 14' then a 16' ... now I have the boat I've posted a pic of before. I honestly wish I had another 12'-14' rowboat because I could leave it at a friends house and just shoot over quick and get it in the water and do some fishing. LOL I think what you stated above is a smart move. Save up and get what you truly need to fish those bigger lakes you talk about.
