As most of you know, my hearing isn't great. I do OK with hearing aids, but there are still plenty of situations where I struggle. Enter COVID. I rely on visual cues quite a bit to help understand what people are saying. Mandatory masking not only muffled voices, but eliminated the visual cues I relied on. Then, on top of the masks, many retail establishments added plastic barriers between the customer and employee. This further muffled voices and made communication almost impossible in many stores and restaurants.
Wondering if Norm Deguerre x2 has heard anything about an ADA lawsuit against all the COVID measures that are horrible for people with hearing loss. If nobody has filed one yet, I'll gladly volunteer to be a plaintiff. As if the jab mandates aren't bad enough, all the barriers to communication just throw salt on the wound.
