  • My dog is in the hospital

Dog went to emergency vet tonight and was just admitted. He has really high calcium levels and they're worried it might be cancer. Norm Deguerre x2 it's Bailey.

Please send positive energy his way

Done. Hoping for the best possible outcome.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

He seems to be doing well with fluids, x-ray didn't reveal anything so today sometime they are going to be doing ultrasound to further rule out cancer.

Ultrasound sound showed nodules in multiple organs and they are biopsying today but looking like widespread cancer.

They did biopsies today and sent them off to Cornell. Also found a small nodule on his thyroid which I think they biopsied as well.

They don't know if the thyroid is separate issue or not.
                ??????
hopefully tomorrow or Friday he can come back home. They said he seems to be doing better physically and not in pain since he has been on IV and going to start steroids tonight to see if it drops his calcium levels.

So keep the positive vibes coming.

BTW I took several of my pups to Cornell
                    one had a knee replacement
                    The other had prostate cancer
                    Fantastic animal hospital there
My pup with the bad knee joint had his own Nurse, Anesthesiologist, and Dr Trotter, who wrote the book on Joint Repair in small animals

Get to pick him up this evening. Pretty confident it's lymphoma and based on what they have told us and the internet it looks like stage 4. They sent off another sample to confirm everything. Calcium is better today after chemo last night but now is having some kidney issues.

We take him back sometime next week for more blood work to see how things are going.

Ugh, so sorry to hear Rob. It's impossible to describe to non-dog owners how much a part of our family they truly are.
