Here's my understanding. This is going to be going through the department of Labor and OSHA. Biden has said that they need to protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. However employees that are not vaccinated will be required to get tested at least once a week. Any violations by the employers is punishable by a fine of $14,000 per violation.

I still don't understand why the vaccinated need to be protected from the unvaccinated because vaccination by definition means immunity so what are the vaccinated afraid of?

Does the government actually have the manpower to enforce this? Even if everyone is honest and there aren't lots of fake vaccination cards and fake test reports, this is a gargantuan task. Plus, you're going to have many Department of Labor and OSHA staffers who aren't looking for extra hassle in their jobs, plus a few who would probably be happy to look the other way for a small fee.

Plus, a large percentage of the country is probably ready for some large scale protesting. Can't have the French showing us up on this.

How many businesses will be able to split into multiple legal entities, each with fewer than 100 employees? The company I work for has 120 employees and already operates under two or three brand names depending on how you want to slice it.

From what I can tell it could be weeks to months before these new rules go into effect..... This is something you should have given a lot of thought about and had lined up with implementation dates before announcing. But just another day in the Biden administration I guess

I don't get it. Oh and if this is such a huge threat then I expect this rule to be rolled out no later then next week. If this takes weeks to write or implement then it must not be that big of an emergency. I'm just saying.....

Back when the vaccine first started rolling out and they were claiming 95% effectiveness based on questionable data, I said that the vaccine would become a political football. But the game of political football stopped and the Democrats are holding onto the ball even after the vaccine effectiveness has been shown to be 40% or less (depending on the metric). So why are the Democrats still tying themselves to the vaccine? I honestly figured that once/if the vaccine was shown to be less effective than advertised, the Dems would throw it back on Trump and blame him for rushing a vaccine that wasn't effective.
