  • Generator break in procedures?

I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I checked owners manual online since I haven't received generator yet and it doesn't give any specific instructions on the matter.

There's no need to run it under any load?

Na. Just run it for a bit and change the oil like Norm mentioned. There's a small break in period, and changing the oil will get out any of the grit from the new bearings.

I like to start mine up about once a month and let it run for an hour or so just to keep the fuel system from getting varnished up. I use Stabil in the fuel as well.
