I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I checked owners manual online since I haven't received generator yet and it doesn't give any specific instructions on the matter.

Na. Just run it for a bit and change the oil like Norm mentioned. There's a small break in period, and changing the oil will get out any of the grit from the new bearings.Originally posted by usmcveteran View PostThere's no need to run it under any load?

I like to start mine up about once a month and let it run for an hour or so just to keep the fuel system from getting varnished up. I use Stabil in the fuel as well.
