Post 7 and 10 are 100 percent spot on. These ass wipes can seem to get it through their thick skulls it is violence that need to be addressed. Make no mistake about it, the media and government will get the headlines they want to further their agenda.
"Don't make it a gun control issue, it's a sick person with mental issues problem, back in the day he would have been institutionalized" or something along those lines..Trump 2016!! LOL! I just wanna see him win so he can really start yanking out lazy old fat rich cats and shake up the status quo" and his whole "tax the rich cause they make millions and millions tax free and lower middle..it's all about the middle class being hammered " he says..but hey, something drastic has to change or just another 4/8 years of rich get rich poor get poorer..
Nothing drastic will happen. The erosion will continue at all levels. You will see more people really mad standing up like the Bundy ranch but
then nothing will be happening until the government cannot pay their bills nor borrow anymore.
Since there is no real cure for toxic governments we will have to wait for the implosion that will affect everyone.
Things will get very though. Austerity comes either optional or forced by the circumstances.
Ireland vs. Greece. Only in the US will be much worse due to the size and reach.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance
He said that for any meaningful change to occur, reporters must keep reporting on gun control and politicians must stop being afraid of the powerful gun lobby, the NRA.
Yet, Parker said that he is “probably going to have to get a gun†because of the culture in the United States.
“When you’re in the media, as you know, and when you are taking on an issue like this, there are a lot of people who take exception to what you are saying, so I will probably have to do that,†Parker said.
He does not currently own a gun, but said: “I don’t want to take any chances.â€Â
The irony is that any sort of enhanced background check that would have prevented Bryce Williams from killing Alison Parker and Adam Ward would probably also deny a firearm to someone suffering from the extreme emotional trauma caused by an event like losing a child to a crazed gunman.
“I want to go to the Virginia legislature and I want them to look me in the eye and tell me why we can’t have a reasonable proposal, any reasonable background checks, the things common sense dictates,†Parker said. “I want them to look me in the eye and tell me why they won’t support that.â€Â
Absolutely horrible situation, and this isn't going to make it any better. The shooter passed "reasonable" background checks. There is much ado in the media about the need to do "something". The problem is nobody has actually said specifically what that "something" should be. NoirTweet.jpg
I doubt this goes anywhere to be honest. It'll be like the nut job in Santa Barbara last year. Some outrage and angry parents blaming laws, then silent again.
I feel terrible for the families involved, but there are honestly no laws that will stop a psycho from being a psycho. Be vigilant, carry yourself, and go about your day.
