  • motorcycles and fishing

Went fishing yesterday, left the house at 04:30, got 5-6 miles from home and it suddenly felt cooler, hence all the roofs were covered in frost, yup that explained it.
Anyways, I'm liking the adventure bike so far, 2 tackle boxes, 3 fishing poles (1 two piece, one 5 piece pack ultra light, and a 5 piece fly rod), dry bag with extra clothes, camp fire grill, 2 thermos bottles of coffee, 2 bottles of wather, hot dogs, mac salad, chips and cookies, life vest and a pistol.
Willing to meet other members for a ride, or meet somewhere to fish. If some one is a couple hours away and we met somewhere in the middle, it could work out as most of us don't fish in our own back yards anyways.
If I travel by vehical, I usually fish out of a canoe, solo pack canoe or kayak. Also hunt this way as well for other riders interested. Haven't tried packing a deer home this way, but I'm up to doing it once to say I've done it and to get some pictures, but only if done sucessfully. Figure if it can be done.on a horse, I should be able to do it on a bike.
I must say I love beavers.

    This is pretty cool.
A good bike with a strong rack in the back will be able to take a deer and even larger game. I have seen this done in very hard to reach areas even for the 4 wheel ATVs like a very small trail that narrows and goes between two huge boulders where the bikes can go through but not the ATVs. I have not tried myself but I have seen it done overseas in hard to reach areas both with hogs and deer.
Need to install a mini-bar in the back. LOL.

It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

This is my utility bike, no riders. Thought about removing the rear pegs but come in handy when hauling stuff. If the old lady is coming along, we take the Ultra Classic.

Cool set up! I used to have a light action pole that broke down into 4 or 5 pieces and would fit in a side case that was fun to have if there was a river nearby on my camping road trips. It was nice to drown some worms after riding all day sometimes.

I use ultra light tackle almost exclusively, drives a couple guys I know nuts that are avid bass fishermen. I'm in to this Peshitta for fun, not a competition so see who lands more fish, leave the F'ing drama on shore.
Rubber lizzards and 4 0 hooks and a weight to suit your preference has been working well.
Thinking of a side car for the Harley, just the frame and custom mount for my Hornbeck canoe. I'm sure it has been done, maybe I rescue littler basket, I could put all kinds of gear in that with a couple of bungies. If I come across one, it would have to be cheap though, I could strap on a kayak and take one of you brave souls along riding inside. Undue a strap or two, lock up the brakes and eject you ass down the landing and in to the water. Imagine the looks on other people's faces seeing that.
FUAC, probably have a law against that too, if not, no doubt you'll create one.
                Did I say FUAC
