Went fishing yesterday, left the house at 04:30, got 5-6 miles from home and it suddenly felt cooler, hence all the roofs were covered in frost, yup that explained it.
Anyways, I'm liking the adventure bike so far, 2 tackle boxes, 3 fishing poles (1 two piece, one 5 piece pack ultra light, and a 5 piece fly rod), dry bag with extra clothes, camp fire grill, 2 thermos bottles of coffee, 2 bottles of wather, hot dogs, mac salad, chips and cookies, life vest and a pistol.
Willing to meet other members for a ride, or meet somewhere to fish. If some one is a couple hours away and we met somewhere in the middle, it could work out as most of us don't fish in our own back yards anyways.
If I travel by vehical, I usually fish out of a canoe, solo pack canoe or kayak. Also hunt this way as well for other riders interested. Haven't tried packing a deer home this way, but I'm up to doing it once to say I've done it and to get some pictures, but only if done sucessfully. Figure if it can be done.on a horse, I should be able to do it on a bike.
