Yes arp is sometging we can trust. Lbc or grendel bolts from them it doesnt matter they just have to be headspaced differenf but either are super strong.
if we can secure more arp bolts then we might have enough of them for all needs.

How do you feel about having an extra spare bolt? I always like to have a 2nd bolt head spaced to the same as the others.
In your case you might want to get three and if you don't mind grendel bolts you can go and get them. I am going to have three too with one spare just in case.
Because he takese a long time to make them sometimes so whatever happens then you are covered.
The thing is when chambering there is a slight difference in the dimension between the LBC and the grendel. No changes in function, just a minor thing but
one we headspace we have to do it for the given bolts that is why I suggest to keep them all in the same type for your firearm and the spare. That I would doubt
one would ever need as the ARP do not break.

I always have spares so no problem there. Especially with an experimental cartridge.

So do you want to pickup some of the Grendel left or wait and see if the LBC show up again?
Otherwise this might take some time but that is expected with wildcats anyway.
At the other hand if you have them already then you have them and we can head-space either way anyway.
I already have for me and gunner but not for everyone. I am getting things in the order folks are joining the group.
There would be only one bolt for you but then it would be nice to have all head-spaced the same. That is why I am asking.
Or another route is if arp can gets us some of the series 800 sets enough for everyone then we can go back to the first case
design. The 800 are a bit more because they require also their proprietary barrel nut.
In then end not a huge difference. I am just trying to keep things consistent.

I have a few superbolts but none of LBC, Grendel etc so I agree we should all use the same to help keep it as similar as possible.

What I mean is that if I build mine with LBC bolts and we cannot find more then you could use the Grendel and have all the barrels the same.
So mine will be heaspaced different but then yours will be the same for all your Grendel bolts. They are all very similar that is only 10 thousands
difference in the recess but then they should be head-spaced accordingly. So one you would not be able to swap bolt with mine but among yours
they will use the same, like mine will use the same type.
Whether grendel or lbc they are all superbolts, the strengthened type. so that is not an issue.

He has 5 Grendel online in stock. We could get those or wait until tomorrow and send him a note on the LBC ones that now are out of stock.

This is what I was explaining they headspace different so folks do not swap an AK bolt with a grendel bolt, that's all.
but becasue ours is custom it can be headspaced as we wish.
