    Who wants to go to the Sig Academy

    I'm looking to take there Defensive Handgun Skills (Pistol 104), 1911 Operator and the Steel Frenzy Pistol.

    The Defensive Handgun Skills (Pistol 104) is was looking at was 3/3 or 3/8 its $215.

      I'd definitely be into it post up some details with dates and cost.

        looked at their website, looks like $215, many dates, bad part is you might have to use frangible ammo, that wold double the cost. That would be a deal breaker for me. I thought they had a modern range, apparently not

          Interested but I need to take some of the prerequisites first (Pistol 102 and 103). Planning to do them back to back over 2 days in January or February. Has anyone taken courses there in winter? Ok to do or worth waiting for warmer weather?

              I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

                  BTW, a future trip to Academi (formerly Blackwater) would be cool to put together. A friend went down a few weeks ago, 7000 acres of really cool Peshitta to shoot at:

                    Of the three times I went I haven't been required to use frangible ammo. I've only been there in the summer outside. I have been to an IDPA there and they didn't use frangible indoors so I don't know what the deal is there.

                        i've been looking into going to one of their carbine classes
                        i have the need to train! and i'd rather not do fighting rifle training here in ny anymore if i can help it

                            Quick update - I consolidated the dates from the Sig Academy site to see how Handgun 102 and 103 line up. Still waiting on a call back from the training folks to confirm dates so let me know if you have questions. So far it looks like the best dates (for me ) are Sunday 2/15 and Monday 2/16 as only one day out of office. Friday 2/6 and Sat 2/7 may not work as Saturday looks like it may be full. Let me know what you guys think.
