  • Bootleg case lube

If you are like me and reload a lot you probably have many tips and tricks that you use.
If you reload large quanties chances are you use a lube spray or pad and probably lots of it.
Also you most likely wash your brass again after brass preparation so no oil residues contaminate powders or primers.

So here is a simple yet efficient recipe to lube your brass.

    Refined Canola oil.

For bare use a tiny drop on the finger tips will lube several cases. Because it is natural it doesn't irritate nor crack the skin and it washes
    off easily with soap.

For the spray what you need is this:

    Fine mist spray bottle..

    99% Alchohol...

Canola oil... that is also great for cooking.

Mix as follows: 1:10 to 1:12 ratio.
This means for 10oz to 12oz of alcohol put 1oz of oil.
you might want to adjust this depending on your caliber but I would start with 1:12 and then
add a bit of oil later if needed.

Berfore spraying the brasss shake the bottle well.

Then spray and make sure that you spray a bit inside the necks.
I like to use a round plastic container that when you shake it most of the bult brass lands straight up so
it is easy to spray evenly and inside the necks.

Let it dry for a few minutes and presto!!

After you are done resizing, trimming, deburring etc... wash your brass again.

    Enjoy!

I do the same thing with lanolin instead of canola....either way you get a lifetime supply for @ $10
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I have lanolin too that is great lube. I just find the canola oil to be less sticky and easier to clean after the fact.

....plus you can mix it with your favorite spices like grandma used to do .
I love my canola oil and then my varget with oregano and black peper like grany made for us.
It gives me that smell that calls home when I am shooting my loads!

(I am joking obviously so never try this ) . LMAO

I try not to sniff my load after I shoot it, but to each their own.
I must say I love beavers.
