Keep a few good ones and trash the rest cheapo ones.
I keep the ones who are sturdy and come with some foam so I can use to sen any nr. of firearms for repair or recall if needed.

If you do decide to get rid of them, make sure that the name is not in plain sight at the end of your driveway. I always get a chuckle out of driving through a neighborhood and seeing a box from a new 60" Samsung smart TV sticking out like a sore thumb in the trash pile. It's like a shopping list for bad guys. LOL. I know every new appliance my neighbors have the week after Christmas. I usually cut those type boxes up into smaller squares and put them in the garbage tote.

I just break down the boxes and turn them inside out.

Typo. From what I understand it's an ongoing project. They shut the store down for 24 hours to do the switch.

Keep them, who would have thought what some guns are worth these days and the price only goes up with the original packaging, Firearms sold as collectibles seldom are, but the ones that are, weren't sold that way.
Lets use the Colt snake guns, worth stupid money now, add the original box and the right buyer will pay up to 30% more for the same gun, A $400 gun when sold new may be worth $1000 to $1200, but add 30% and it's easy to see the importance and value of a freakin piece of paper or cardboard.

I have one of those Colt snake guns.It was made in the 1960's.It is in excellent condition with original wood grips. I also have the original box. I wonder how much it is worth?
