After 16k rounds you should be a hell of a shot!
I could be wrong...it's happened before and it'll happen again.

            84 exit 18.

I'm sure getting to be a pretty good shot. but I really should go back to shooting my 9s more..being that those are my everyday carrys. Still though, I put a minimum of 200 rounds of 9 each trip, but .27 a round is much different than .10 a round..

Yeah, that's at least a half hour away for me, lol! There's a place in Pleasant Valley I go to on the rare occasion I might be able to afford something like ammo, haha! Not sure what those guys think of me after the first time I walked in there, lol!

Thought you meant badge as in shield, as in LEO. That would have surprised me.

Ooooo no..what chu got here is a man that despises order and authority lol. Don't get me wrong, I'm a good law abiding, honest, kind hearted gentleman..BUT, ask me to conform or stand in line as a yes man..not in my blood. My pops was a Union delegate in the 70s, putting his groups to strike cause the corporation wanted to take away "casual Friday" lol. I'm sorry to say, you won't catch me being a first responder to catastrophic event, and you won't catch me saying yes sir..I'll leave my children at home to go be a pawn for some fat rich fool 1000 miles away.. I do respect and appreciate everyone who does these forms of career or war fighting..but most usually it's in their blood as my blood happens to be the veer of the beatin track and be an amuser to a fault..

I thought this thread was going to be about reloading. Lol well at least someone is having fun shooting. I have shot about 2000 rounds in the past two months almost all center fire ammo though, I think I have gone through 100 rounds of .17 WSM and 100 rounds of .22 LR.

Not to smack around a dead horse but..
Put through 300 today and counted about 5 FTEs, yay!. Definitely worth experimenting with your piece if you have a sorta fixable issue and the sak to play around. Or yes of course by all means send them out on your dime and your time and have the Manufacturer fix it. But sometimes things are quite simple and knowledge learned goes along with you in your journeys and quite possibly I can help someone else. If it would have just been sent out and sent back, yea I'd open the box and point and shoot, but now I've learned something new and very pleased with it and myself I gotta say.

No. Everything is holding up quite fine, I have to say I'm pleasantly pleased with this "Pot Metal" type of alloy. I must say this is quite a stress test for this type of alloy, a good test too because of the extreme amount of use and heat in such a short amount of time. Nothing else having issues, slide is butter, still locks on final round, trigger has eased up a tad and still shooting dead on (unless I'm sucking that day) at the distances I shoot, which are almost always 30ft and 70ft for my handguns. It was just the extractor not totally grabbing the rim of the cartridge or grabbing at first but slipping off halfway on eject.. But all is fine..for now..
