    Seriously, take a look at the 227 (I've got the carry, the full size uses the same frame with just a longer slide). Physically it's almost the exact same size (fits in 220 and 226 holsters) with just a tiny bit more circumference in the grip but you get 10 +1 instead of 8+1 (optional 14 round mag if we ever get the unsafe act kicked to the curb).

      Go with the 227, you won't be sorry 10rds of .45acp, E2 grips, you can find some nice deals on the FDE version on GB. And the bonus if you move out of this toilet of a state you can get the 14 round mags. I have many many Glocks, Beretta's, and M&P's. My Sig collection has grown the most out of all my guns. I have sold off most of my less used guns and have mostly Sigs. I have a P210 on order and a 227 on the way for my christmas present to myself.

            My first 45 will probably be a glock 41.

            I do like the sig227 though for a metal framed carry 45 option. Several other guns on my short list before a 45 though

              Glock 41? I guess beauty is in the eye of the beerholder, huh? (that is one ugly gun...just my .02)

              Everybody knows that your first .45 should ALWAYS be a 1911, you can add as you see fit after that.

                This will be my first 45, so I guess both the 220 and 227 will be out

                      If I could afford a nice 1911 to show off and sit in the safe I'll buy one. I'd rather buy a cheaper uglier but more functional gun first though lol

                      I see 1911 like the Harleys of the pistol market. And if I had money to blow I would own a Harley too
