Well ever since I seen a post started by 4eXcalibur I had to start this one..So I hope this will be another good thread asking these types of questions..
He gave me idea what is the best way one should clean up and pickup all your spent casings at your local club or shooting range to keep it cleaned up.Not just spent casing but how about taking your used targets down and just picking up anything that should be and put it in the trash barrel..
I know a lot of people do there own reloading on 357, 38,40,44,9mm,10mm,45acp,30-06,308,270,223.5.56 etc.but there is also a lot that do not..
So that does help clean your local shooting club cleaned up, my biggest concern is 22lr,22wmr and 17hmr or any of type of ammo that will not be reloaded..so what is the best way to pickup these spent casing as there a pretty small casing to pickup if your shooting at a club that does not have a cement floor and has a grass surrounding..
I know they do make brass catches but not everybody will buy or use them.
So how does one pick up there spent casing so you do not have to bend down?
I know when I go to my local shooting club I pick up every signal shell I shoot but I always end up picking up someone else spent casing.
I do not mind doing it but it is getting very hard when you have a bad back,I do not have a hard time with the bigger calibers but man it is a pain in the ass when it comes time to pickup 22 ammo that is when it becomes really difficult for me and sure everyone else here,Now as most of you know when shooting semi auto 22lr the spent casing really fling out of your gun so that also makes them hard to find.
Anyways I like to see how everyone tries to keep there club clean and what is the best way to pick up your ammo.?
I also wish the spent casing where magnetic then it be easy to pick them up but unfortunately most spent casing are made of brass or some sort of non magnetic metal..
