I have been wanting one of these for a long time. Problem is I want it then talk myself out of it an get something else. Then when I get money I want it again...then buy something else. It seems to be a viscous cycle. Part of the reason I keep passing it up is the avaliability of ammo. 45lc is kinda pricy and most is weak so it can be shot in older revolvers. Well I'm gonna have the ability to load my own which will bring the price down and make some quality ammo. My other issue is that its just not a range gun. I'm afraid i'm gonna spend $1400 on it and end up being bored with it after I shoot it few times. How much fun can you really have time after time punching paper with a lever gun in 45lc??? AR's and stuff like that are always fun at the range and you can put optics and stuff on them but we cant have that kinda stuff here :-(
Also I would prefer the 24" barrel version but that holds 13 +1 and im pretty sure that's now a no no here in NY. From my understanding only 22 rimfire was exempt for tube mags to hold more than 10 rounds. They do have a 20" version that holds 10+1 and I could live with that but...
OK so what does the herd have to say???
Here is the 20"
