I had a nice conversation with people at work today about gun control and related issues. Politically we all have different values I believe.
Here is my take away.......
1. Gun control is not the solution to mass shootings. We need to investigate cause of them and go from there.
2. Mental health is a real issue and unless we get rid of stigmas and only have those truly deemed threat to others not be allowed to own firearms your setting yourself up for failure.
3. Finally if you want any truly meaningful change that might actually make a difference you need discussion from those in the middle and not those on the extemes of an issue.
Thoughts?
