The Stealth Cam P12 specs are:
6 megapixel switchable to 4 and 2 megapixel
EZ Dial programming with Quick Set .... this feature DOES work fine and it really is easy to program.
Video Recording 5, 15, 30 seconds ... I can't comment on this as I haven't tried that feature yet
Time, Date, Moon Phase Stamp ..... I'll let you know what I see on the SD card tomorrow IF this camera takes a picture but the date and time were simple to set
Rapid-Fire Burst Mode .. this feature DOES work well with 3 picture bursts I have it set on. It can take up to 9 pictures in burst mode.
50ft Range ..... This is has yet to be seen but I'm not optimistic on this spec.
External LCD display .... this is a very basic LCD display but it does show how many pictures it took.
It can be mounted on a camera tripod and it can be attached to a tree with security cables. It virtually blends in with nearly any tree I placed it against which is nice. The camera comes with a strap for mounting to a tree and is VERY long which my other camera did not and limited me to smaller diameter trees. I purchased two Stealth Cam P12 trail cameras from Amazon and put one out today to try it. I read the instructions and decided to give the "test mode" a try to see what I could expect. Here's what I found. The camera flashes a green light to let you know it would have triggered and taken a picture. It picked me up immediately. I then moved away walking back a forth in front of the cam about 10' away. Still picking me up just fine. I then go about 20' away and .... no green light. I walked back and forth in front of the camera numerous times and from different angles. Nothing. No green light to signal that a picture would have been taken. I move back towards the camera about 6' ... nothing. I move in another step. Nothing. I move back within that 10' area and the green light goes on. I haven't gotten any pics from it yet and I'm not sure what this camera will capture in a picture because I don't know what the trigger speed really is as of yet, but I'll let you know tomorrow when I check the SD card if there's anything at all on it. I'll also give this a try for a week and see what happens and keep you informed, but from what I've seen thus far in it's "test mode" I'm not at all happy with the claim of 50ft range. I had another camera that was stolen and I can't remember the make and model, but that one would take pics 50' or more away and it wasn't an expensive trail camera.

This trail cam is under $60 so I'm not expecting the world of it, but I DO expect it to be triggered at close to 50ft ... which I'm highly doubtful of. It does take day and night photos as well as video. I will say that this camera is extremely user friendly and easy to use and set up. I do like the design as well as the wide strap that comes with it. Another thing I like is the ability to mount it on a camera tripod and the fact that security cables can be used to mount it to the tree to deter theft. Tomorrow I will continue this review and see what this trail cam produces for pictures. If nothing tomorrow, then I'll let this thing go for a week and I'll move it around to different locations and at different heights on trees and let you all know what I find. Right now I'd give it a 3 chicken finger rating out of 5 chicken fingers because many of the features are nice and it's ease of use as well as price point. This may change tomorrow though based on the quality of pictures and what it captures. Stay tuned!!
