But hell yeah, I worked as a plumbers apprentice back in the day, and yeah........Peshitta happens.
Who do I know??? The entire CSEA custodial work force at Schuylerville school. I use to be one of them as well. I'm not talking about the head honcho in charge of the custodial services in the school. He does make MUCH more. I was giving Wildman an example of starting out in a job where cleaning a toilet occurs ALOT!! Look at where you just said ..... WESTCHESTER!! Westchester is part of NYC for all intents and purposes. The taxes are high as hell and the cost of living there demands 60k per year!! Nothing at all can be compared between up here and down there without taking into account things like cost of living index. LOL Tell me that a house in Westchester is the same price as a house up here when comparing apples to apples. You can't do it. NYC renting a studio apt is WELL over $1000 per month and that doesn't include Peshitta! 60k in Westchester is the equivialent of minimum wage up here. That's the fact of things. Case in point. My friend drives a cement pump truck He's in a union. If he pumps concrete up here .... he get's $28 per hr. If he goes to NYC to pump concrete, it's $800 per day at 4 hours a day. That's $200 per hr. Hell ... you're talking about a part of the state where a damn cheeseburger is $14!! LMAO ... and yeah ... Long Island .... we won't go there because that too is NYC for all intents and purposes. Nothing like it was 50 years ago.

Yeah, regional differences in salary can sometimes be cruel. My GF is in Hotel Management and her salary is half of what it was in Fishkill.

I only took a $20 a week cut in pay when I moved here so it was a no brainer.

I remember you saying that before. You're making out good man!! Now let's hope dipPeshitta gets this job so HE can be on his way to having a future in a company! Where he is now doesn't give a crap about him or the fact he's an outstanding employee!!

I did hear some concerning news from my buddy today. I was the 5th person to be interviewed. The issue is that he heard a managers son was also interviewed. Usually when that happens that there is no chance for anyone else. At least that's how it works at my place. He also said no family was supposed to be allowed to apply but that didn't happen either. Fingers crossed but I don't like hearing that.

Its not that im lazy, or dont wanna work the mandatory overtime 17 hour shifts in the summer go home and sleep 4 hours and ho back for another 17 hours...its the politics/favoritism...NEPOTISM

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft
