i have a funny short story of a swollen one a few years ago. it was swollen pretty bad, so went to my hippy ass primary care. tech asks if it's ok for the doctor to bring in a trainee with her when she comes in to evaluate. i say no problem of course and take my pants off. In walks an old high school crush of mine with my doctor while i'm standing there all exposed and not in my glory. i about died trying not to laugh... thought you'd all get a kick out of it as it all ended well.
had to go get some further examination from the hospital and wasn't the ultrasound tech also an old family friend. greaaat. still have em both, swelling wasn't a problem much longer and went away on it's own thankfully. never figured out the cause. need to get the ol' vasectomy at some point though. sorry to hear about your friends norm
