Vaccine breakthrough, not in good way

So far 5800 confirmed cases and over 70 deaths from covid for those fully vaccinated. It's still early since having people fully vaccinated and they can no longer say there have been no deaths from covid for those who get vaccinated.

These numbers are just going to go up and you can't really draw ant conclusions because this is real world and way to early to know things.

So this is a good reminder that if you get vaccinated it doesn't mean hour necessarily safe and to continue to watch out for yourself.


I also saw another article where pfizer and moderna vaccine is actually associated with clot issues. About 4 people per million which is higher then the 1 person per million for J&J vaccine yet those aren't on pause???? The other article though says that if you get covid you have an even higher risk of clots so getting vaccinated could lower your clot risk.

Since I've already had Covid and don't seem any worse for wear, my risk/reward scenario for the vaccine seems to favor not getting it.

My kids WILL NOT be getting this vaccine because their risk/reward scenario is even clearer than mine is. They've all been exposed to Covid already and it didn't effect them at all. If New York State tries to make it mandatory for kids going back to school, there will be an awful lot of parents making alternative arrangements for the education of their children.

I've been reading recently that Drs and others want businesses to mandate the vaccine as condition of employment since the government mandating it would likely upset a lot of people.

Ive actually decided to be patriotic and do my civic duty regarding the vaccine......

As you may or may not know Pfizer and moderna has received permission from the FDA to tell the people in their trials if they got the real vaccine or placebo and if they received the placebo then offer the actual vaccine.

The problem is that now we have no control group to study long term effects. So I have decided that it's in the best interest of science and society to NOT get vaccinated to assist in determining if there are long term effects from those vaccines.
