People are being brainwashed by smart phones and facebook. I dont know if I said this here before, but its something I've thought about for a long time. Back in the 60's it was discovered that advertisers were putting subliminal messages in TV ads. The gov shut it down immediately claiming it was a form of brainwashing or mind control I think they said. Now if they could brainwash with that technology, imagine what they could do today. The communications class I took in college touched on Cultivation Theory and opened my eyes quite a bit about how much the media shapes our perception of the world around us.
