I can't believe how many times the new pres said "democracy" to start his reign. No one told him that we have a democratic republic? soon to be socialism if these authoritarians have their way...

yeah i know it's a representative democracy (with a constitution), but they just constantly talk about it as if we have a direct democracy. ugh. not looking forward to this...

I would recommend to you and all my other friends: Take a little break from social media, MSM, newspapers, forums, etc. Go shooting, fishing, putter around in the basement or garage, reload a crap-ton of ammo, clean your guns, or just otherwise distract yourselves for a few days. We all need a little break right now. I'll see y'all for some BBQ next Friday!!!

This is where I keep reminding myself that the clowns in DC don't actually have as much impact on my life as the sensationalist media makes them seem like they do.

Hopefully it stays that way, but either way it gets me focusing more on the stuff I can control.

Yes and no. I can honestly tell you that I'm out probably 6 figures since Obamacare was passed. My premiums and deductibles skyrocketed.

Used to pay $42/week with $25 copay. Now, im $144/week and the first $12k out of pocket. And we hit that $12k almost every year for the family plan.
