Don't get me wrong, I have loved Trump's juvenile behavior and what it's accomplished over the past 4 years but this was the one time he needed to suck it up and not be "Trump".

It is very irritating, but I'm not sure how much it actually changes anything. A: It is/will/was always going to happen. B: They've called us deplorables from the start.

So what portion of the population is actually being influenced by this?

Here's the message that is implied by yesterday's events regardless of who the agitators were: burning down poor and minority communities across the nation is acceptable, but if you dare inconvenience the lives of the ruling elite there will be immediate consequences. But, that's not going to be anywhere close to what most people take away from yesterday's events.

Let's not forget the left and riots after trump one first time. Flipping cars and not wanting to take tests at college and so on. Unfortunately yesterday I think was worse.

Scary times with people under a lot of stress and emotions running high. Anything is possible now it seems.

Listening to the radio and they're going over all the politicians calling for impeachment or the 25th amendment. I'm sure I'm biased, but the reaction is way beyond what happened. This is all about destroying his legacy and keeping the bodies hidden.

All year long it was "you can't blame all of Antifa and BLM for a few bad apples committing the violence". Major Dem political figures including Kamala Harris were on record encouraging the riots over the summer. But now all of a sudden it's insurrection and a coup and terrorism?

At the very least this is an elitist double standard. At worst it's something more sinister.

yeah, she even had heavily armed police RIGHT behind her, i don't understand what the hell was going on. she obviously was making a move "upward" at the time and the guy that shot her had his gun up and aimed at her in advance. what a clusterf*ck.

He's ruined his own legacy with his juvenile behavior as of late. A bigger man would have stated that he's not happy with how things went but it's time to accept the current situation, regroup, and come back in 4 years. By not denouncing the behavior of that group in DC yesterday and instead actually encouraging it he has pretty much guaranteed that history will not treat him kindly. Had he accepted this BS defeat with grace and moved on quietly he could have possibly become legend, instead Trump has been Trump. It's really too bad.

The biggest thing that irks me is the media has encouraged the BLM/ANTIFA rioting all year, covering it as necessary, peaceful protests etc...

A member in a motorcycle forum I frequent posted the following silver lining observation: "It looks so far like the red & blue sides of the aisle both were shaken enough to remember that our form of Government is based in compromise and cooler heads are prevailing."

I will also say while stationed in DC I encountered a bush bus. That was pro bush. But they weren't lol they were against bush trying to get people who liked him to start hating him.

Yea they were saying how great he was and handed out pamphlets with info on how he was going to out nuclear waste storage near people's homes .

So....learn something new everyday: Trump posted message on FB and twitter acknowledging the mess but telling everybody to chill and go home. Since part of his message was construed as condoning the violence, he was banned from both platforms and the message scrubbed.

If this is not outright manipulation by the media, I don't know what is. All Americans, regardless of political persuasion, should be completely incensed at this. SMH
