Nope. Working on strengthening my glutes seems to have worked. I'm back and running and feeling good.

      That's good to hear!

  • My running progress has been pretty slow, so I rarely notice it or appreciate it much. But, taking note of progress is probably important for my sanity and motivation. Two weeks ago I set a new 5K PR at 27:40, and I'm now consistently running sub 30 5Ks. This morning I pushed hard for the segment at the beginning of my run, then figured I'd take it relatively easy for the rest. Still ended up with a 27:48 5k time. It wasn't really that long ago that I sub 30 5ks were a big achievement for me.

A big thank you to the better runners in this thread for the encouragement and support you've provided.

The house used to be on a well. I’ve often debated hooking up the well to use to water the lawn and plants and stuff. I probably won’t, but I’ve thought about it.

That’s one of the hardest parts of running. Gains are slow and often times nearly immeasurable until one day you go “holy Peshitta that wasn’t bad”

  • After a whole bunch of injuries I started training again and in 5 weeks will be running the 2022 Boston Marathon. Not sure what to expect a time, but hoping to get close to 3hr 30min.

    • Welcome back stranger!
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

      I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Outstanding. I got in a 6 race series this winter and it felt great to finally get some actual races in.
