I got into a FB debate about how college isn't for everyone, and for those that truly feel they need a college degree, there are a plethora of options to get that degree without going into ridiculous debt, and the resources to find those options are available to everyone.
I was called privileged for saying that. I detest that term, especially when it comes from certain sources that shall not be named. Especially when they don't know me or the fact that my parents didn't have a lot of money, and I was the first person in my family to graduate with a college degree. Granted my sister trumped me by getting her BS before I got mine, but that's irrelevant. I followed an abnormal route to get my BS, and have zero college debt because of it. Heaven forbid I point out that there are other options, lest I be labeled as "privileged"
