Not much help prolly from me But I used to have a fleet of Payphones S lot of the maintenance was cleaning the coun mechanism of lint and such I used wd 40 that's it

Trying to track down any history. I got a Van Lansing company lighter fluid dispenser that I believe is made between 1928 and 1933.

Curious why it says sole property of Van Lansing co on the base. I know later on after patent was approved they sold these to businesses.

Takes a penny to dispense lighter fluid.

That's an advertisement after they got patent. I've seen a few different ones with different stickers on them and different manufacturing locations and ultimately they were bought out by atlas manufacturing I think.
