Yeah, no way I was leaving. Didn't want to anyway. All 3 of mine were born at Rochester General in the new birthing center. It was quite nice, and we had the option to keep baby in the room with us, which we did.

We were at highland and the standard was baby in the room with the option for having baby in nursery if they had staffing.

I stayed for my first, but went home after our second was born. The first was ROUGH, and I was up for almost 24 hours, and couldn't sleep for Peshitta in those god awful convertible chairs that Strong has. With our second, my wife and I agreed that I'd go home and sleep before picking them up and bringing them home. It worked out way better for both of us. I was rested and able to help more.

She did have heart burn at the end..... Well actually maybe longer because I do remember her drinking lemon juice to help.
