      Gottlieb is also saying new vaccines for new variants might not even help. The further you get away from the original strains the less vaccines tend to work.

      He's also on Pfizer board I think. Either way it seems most people getting the omicron seem to be vaccinated. Most likely because most people are vaccinated now. There are even boosted people getting it.

      I read in Africa there are younger people in hospital covid wings. Then article went on to say it's because they are in hospital for other reasons like surgery lol.

      Also reading omicron shares DNA with common cold. How much you want to bet government made this virus too lol.

        The optimistic part of me wonders if Omicron is going to be the end of Covid. If this variant only has mild symptoms, but still provides natural immunity, then it's going to be the end of the pandemic.

        Whether or not the powers that be will ever let the pandemic end is a different question.

          Yeah, I figured the news of this new variant would actually be lauded as "good news". God forbid the MSM and .gov actually want us to hear anything positive related to this virus........."Continue the fearmongering!!!"

            A good watch regarding deblaaaahzi-O's latest mandate (and anecdotal evidence of a healthy dude getting very sick due to an adverse reaction). Louis Rossman is a right to repair champion but touches on just about every other subject you could imagine.

                A federal court issued a nationwide injunction against another one of Biden's federal mandates. No idea if the state level court cases will have the same level of success. Meanwhile, lives and livelihoods are being irreparably harmed while these cases work their way through the court system.

                Biden's mandates are 0/3 are this point.

                    At the federal level. No idea when/if there is going to be some state level relief.

                  Kabuki Theater. They may get it through the Senate with help from Manchin and another red state Dem or two but it'll never even get to a vote in the House and it's for damn sure Brandon won't be signing a piece of legislation that rescinds his own executive order.
