I just visited the reservoir for the first time Thursday. Took the kids up the trail to the fire tower and stopped by the one big boat launch.

Looks massive. I also noticed a number of gated roads off the dirt section of Big Moose road between Twitchell and Stillwater. A few of them had interesting bold markings that weren't street numbers and weren't municipal markings. Made me wonder if there are some fancy hideaways for rich people out there since it's a pretty remote area.

By twitchell the road is 1 car wide I think. I looked into a path down that way to get to terror lake.
