    Snowpocalypse 2021

    Anyone notice how this winter was mild until biden took office? Just saying lol.

    Good luck everyone this week. Rochester area is expecting 8 to 12 inches tonight and possibly same amount Thursday into Friday this week.

      On the plus side, we're used to this sort of thing. Looks like Texas isn't faring so well with the cold snap they're dealing with.

          I woke up at 5 prepared to run the snowblower. Looked outside, and promptly went back to bed. I'll deal with it when I get home from work.

              HAHA i figured if i didn't fix it we were going to get slammed!

              the friction plate was shot, fairly easy swap. what wasn't easy was getting the wheels off to get it swapped! they were seized on there pretty good. I was able to get a 2-jaw puller in the holes for the wheel pin though and push back on the axle. was a pain in the ass until I got a big enough wrench to hold the puller on there good. it may have looked a little ghetto but it worked damn well! I almost drilled holes in the wheel to mount a balancer puller, glad i got it figured out without having to do that though.

              Before too long, if you didn’t while you had it apart, pull the wheels back off and put anti-seize on it so you don’t have the same issue next time they need to come off.

            I just got done snowblowing driveway. I was less then impressed as well. Well at least we have Thursday and Friday to make up for it lol

              of course they backed off on their predictions for today/tomorrow after the big dud at the beginning of the week (or the conditions changed I guess LOL)

            I want to know what biden intends to do about weather reports rarely being accurate. I think he should start a commission. We can't have Americans waking up early for no reason!

                they really do overhype these events ahead of time. even if it played out worst case scenario (per their forecast), it really wouldn't have been the end of the world because the timing. but it was going to be so damn bad they closed and cancelled a ton of stuff prematurely.

                I'm not so sure about the zombies. Yesterday I saw a guy driving alone in his car with the windows down and a mask on.
