  • More Civil Unrest On The Way?

Washington DC is in the process of boarding up again. Anyone know why?

I would guess just plain fear of the unknown. Sadly this is exactly what I've been predicting for most of this year. A highly contested election that could get violent.

I don't understand the timing though. The inauguration is still about a month away. Are they worried that there are going to be Christmas riots?

I'm not sure how long before the election they started boarding up, but a month seems excessive.

Maybe because the people that got used by crazy uncle joe and the dems are figuring out that they were expendable and that the elite don't give a PePePeshittatata about them?

Immediately after election week: “When this campaign was at its lowest, the African American community stood up again for me,” Biden said. “They always have my back, and I’ll have yours.”

“For decades, Black people have shown up time and time again for a country that consistently tells us that our lives don’t matter,” said Mary Hooks, a founding member of Black Lives Matter Atlanta and co-director of Southerners on New Ground, a social justice advocacy organization. “Beyond a cheap thank you, we need this administration to be bold and unapologetic about paying that debt through enacting policy changes.”

After Biden accepted the presidency, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors wrote an open letter to Biden and Harris saying “we want something for our vote” and asked for an immediate meeting.

One month later: The Black Lives Matter organization is accusing President-elect Joe Biden of ignoring their request for a meeting and disregarding the Black voters who helped him win.

Even the progressives that supported him may be in for a surprise:

“I am not going to violate the Constitution. Executive authority that my progressive friends talk about is way beyond the bounds…there is a Constitution,” President-elect Biden is heard telling the meeting attendees. “Our only hope and the way to deal with it is, where I have executive authority, I will use it to undo every single damn thing this guy [President Donald Trump] has done by executive authority, but I’m not going to exercise executive authority where it’s a question, where I can come along and say, ‘I can do away with assault weapons.’ There’s no executive authority to do away that.”

My hope is that someday soon "We the People" (conservatives, liberals, BLM's, Never-Trumpers, Antifa, Oath Keepers, rich, poor, black, white, etc......everybody!) will stop in-fighting and realize we are being played by a bigger power. Biden wants "unity"? He better be careful what he asks for.

We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

          I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Perhaps some establishments are getting a jump on boarding up for the 6th since it might be harder to get people to work on fortifying your shop over the holidays?
