  • Is it just me?

Woke up this morning to a local news article warning that supermarkets are limiting purchases on certain items; providing a detailed list of the specific items each store is limiting purchases on. Is this not tantamount to making a public announcement: "Here is a list of things you need to run out RIGHT NOW and hoard"? Because you know damn well that if the shelves are not bare now, they will be by the time the morning news is over today.

Would it not make more sense just to post signs in the stored and leave it at that....to avoid the whole Panic Buying Part II?

    SMH

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Besides, if you did not learn anything from the events of this past year and have not secured a supply of these items already, then you deserve to go without.

      100%

so my mother in law (who lives with us) goes the other day "i should know better than go to the store on the 1st or the 15th, it was pretty bare in there"
I followed up with "well yeah that and the next wave of shortages coming." she had no f*ing idea and I talk about it all the time, i swear I do.
she was purging out the cupboard the other day too and says we should throw this stuff out as [my daughter] won't eat it. I said "we aren't throwing any food out unless it has gone bad, you know especially with the lockdowns ramping back up?" Mind you, I'll pretty much eat anything so why would we throw good food out anyway, my daughter isn't in charge of what's in the cupboards LOL We're pretty low on funds as it is, why would we throw out food? wtffffffffff

Not a bad marketing tactic. It will be fun when they start telling us to horde goofy perishable stuff. "Be sure to stock up on extra bananas before the lockdown"

                  Well Walmart was out of:
                  Kleenex
                  toilet paper
                  spray cleaners
                  almost out of hand sanitizer
