What I mean is what steps were taken to protect the identities of those on jury? If they found him not guilty on anything would a reasonable person think they would face no repercussions from the public in this case?

I haven't followed the trial very closely either, but from what I've heard, the jurors were getting doxxed. The one specific incident I heard about was a dead pig's head being delivered to a house one of the jurors usedused to live at.

That wasn't a juror. He was a "use of force" expert called to testify by the defense, and his conclusion on the stand was that excessive force was not used.

CBS was giving out tidbits of info on the jurors though. Theres now way in hell that a not guilty verdict wouldn't have brought about the identities of all the jurors being known and had their lives ruined though.

Regardless of the facts of the case there is no way this officer had a fair trial.

The 3 decade of decline in violent crime will be reversed, and I'm sure they'll say it's because of too many guns on the street.

Social media is a hot mess of people claiming the officer just should have tackled her, or used non-lethal force, or shot the knife out of her hand, or shot her in the leg, or......

There's a shocking number of people who don't have a clue what the laws say about use of lethal force. There's also a shocking number of people who seem to believe that attackers need to actually injure a victim before anyone is allowed to do anything to them.
