Tonneau Covers

Now that my cover has had a chance to stretch out and get broken in. I'm happy with it. The vinyl seems to be really high quality. Way nicer than the old cover I had on my ranger.

The bed extender kit isn't as nice. After I get back from vacation I'll be contacting them to explain the problems and see if the have a solution.

A fairly big branch fell off one of our trees near the driveway and poked a pretty big hole in my tonneau cover.

Time to research tonneau cover repair kits.

What's it made of? Had tree branch fall through cover of my boat and just made a patch out of canvas has held up pretty good. I'm sure same can e done with vinyl.

It's vinyl and a Google search is showing they make patch kits.

It occurred to me that if I wasn't working from home, the tree branch just would have fallen on the driveway. The freaking coronavirus put a hole in my tonneau cover.

Thought I had pic of patch that I made but can't find it. Here's the branch



Bought some of same canvas cut it to 2" bigger than tear (which was pretty long) all around. Folded the canvas back about 1/2" all around and ran three rows of stitches on sewing machine. Has held up pretty good so far. Good luck.

I bought a soft fold for my F150 from MOSTPLUS, and I have had it for a year now, it is very durable, and costs less than $200.
