oh hell yeah, that was what i was worried about the most, focusing and shooting when i can barely see straight LOL. so i did live fire once a week most of this fall, shooting about 100 rounds ea of .40 and 223. ea week in different scenarios after different challenges to get the HR up.

it probably a couple weeks before i was comfortable with the plates running and gunning. is that what you mean? but mind you i already weigh 300#'s, so 30/300 is only 10% of my body weight. and though i wasn't in marathon shape (obviously at 300#) this summer i was in decent fighting shape to start with. i say 30#'s because i'm talking plate carrier, plates, mags with ammo, rifle and pistol. mind you there are still things that are certainly not comfortable for me to do in the kit. like if i have to throw a heavy pack on along with the kit and go any real distance, i'm going to get gassed real quick, i need to start doing that.

Yes running and gunning. Another thing you can do even without plates is do some jumping jacks and push ups then immediately after do some target practice. Simulates adrenaline and running and gunning.

      definitely!

i had to calm the live fire down though after the skirmish. gotta keep a few rounds around.

I was looking into weight vests for training purposes. They make some where you can add weight as you desire, so it would be possible to work your way up. I figured the workout weight vests might arouse less suspicion than a legit plate carrier as I run around my neighborhood.

yeah totally. now it's much easier to do stuff around the house with it on though as i can throw something over it if i'm not double deep with mag pouches LOL but in the nicer weather, i had to go to private property

      classic! LOL

some of the TG athletes run around with 8# sledge hammers on slings because at least it's weight and they are long and flop around like a rifle (sort of)

That's obviously a deepfake video. Everyone knows that kind of rifle is illegal in Brooklyn.
