  • Help me design CPAP battery backup

Looks like I'm stuck with CPAP. My neck circumference is under the at risk size. Sure I'm overweight but I have severe sleep apnea so I assume losing weight will help but not sure me.

I would like to create a back up battery option to last at least 3 days and be back packable. Allegedly 90 wh will get me approximately 14 hrs of use. SLA or any lead acid batteries are out of question. Maybe lifepo4? Solar power recharge is an option.

What ideas or thoughts do you have?

I want to build a packable solar rechargeable battery pack for HAM radio. Looking at Powerfilm for solar panel. Cool stuff and believe it is top notch.

I have powerfilm foldable panel. Do it again I could get Marine one so you can leave it out and not worry about rain.

          Problem solved:

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

          I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Yeah, I don't know how you could improve much over the LiPo type batteries we were talking about a couple months ago.

How about Redbull? The less you sleep, the less you'll need battery power! lol

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

Hello Rob depending what you want to spend on a battery back up you could choose from a lot of different options. they do make a cpap battery back ups but there fairly expensive,My suggestion is just go with a solar power or get a APC battery backup. they range fro a $100 and up.

Now this might sound crazy but you always get one of those portable jump starter battery pacs as they do have a 12 volt plugs on them.for example here is the Schumacher XP2260 1200 Peak Amp Instant Portable Power Source and Jump Starter,it should work great for what you needing it to do..
                    https://www.amazon.com/Schumacher-XP...419313f540d365

Here is the one I think you might like and the price is not to bad for you as it design for a cpap, camping etc..It is the Webetop Portable Generator Power Inverter Battery 42000mAh 100W Camping CPAP Emergency Home Use UPS Power Source Charged by Solar Panel/ Wall Outlet/ Car with 110V AC Outlet,3 DC 12V,3 USB Port..
                    https://www.amazon.com/Webetop-Porta...able+generator

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

Don't waste your time to have a pack designed, it will cost you a tonne and me a bunch revenue production time.
Go out an purchase an APC Universal 90W back up battery for laptop. Its a $175and I will give you a sample system for your solar charger.
