Neighbor of one of my friends is semi-retired attorney building a homestead in adirondacks. Was there a few months ago and she was in process of clearing some woods to make fields and a pond. She had old cabin just poured concrete floor was still opened up. She got one room enclosed and insulated and working on rest of cabin. She was away for weekend and asked my buddy to keep fire going. Quite the woman. Living alone out in the woods pretty much off grid. One room had sleeping area stove in center of room wood burning stove for heat and living space. Lots of mounts including some exotic African animals and a polar bear skin as comforter on bed. Shotgun was at the side of the bed. Place is coming along nice. Will ask her if I can post pics next time I’m up that way.
