  • Inspired by another forum.....

    Here's the scenario.

Unlike every other day of your life this morning you wake up and you know today you will be in a life or death fight for survival. Either yourself or loved ones will be in danger.
You don't know when or where but you know for sure it's happening today. Staying home and forting up is not an option.

The obvious choice of a rifle is not on the menu.

What gun and caliber to you wear for the occasion.? Extra mags, different carry position, different ammo just for todays event?

    Back up gun?

    Go!
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

2 mp5's on shoulder straps under my long pastel Miami vice coat. Spare mags miami style up my arse.

Either that, or Neo-matrix style strapped with 20 or so guns.

G23. Because that is what I train with. It's what I carry.

My choice is the ARRRRRRR ...
If that is not available then the 16" saiga 5.56 or 308 will work fine.
10rd magazines are plenty and they are flexible if you pull on them hard and strech them. saiga 5.56 can take ARRRRRR magazines too.
The kalsah is nothing fancy but like the glock it goes bang every time you pull the trigger.

It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Why would you switch up just because you knew something was going to happen on this particular day? Should we not be prepared for the proposed scenario every time we leave our homes?

I would not switch up for that day. The switch would happen over a period of time. I think one should be prepared to be efficient with whatever one can get his hands on and have at least 1 backup alternative RTG.

I would also chop my pee-pee off and replace it with a single shot Derringer in case things got really ugly.

ETA - sorry, been sick lately. Lack of sleep and meds are clearly having an impact...

If you know you're going to end up in a life or death fight, grab a hack saw, wear a trench coat, and find a way to conceal something?

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Stick with my standard carry setup but it does make me reconsider the fact that I don't carry a reload.

I'll go about my normal day. M&P Shield 9 on the right hip with 2 spare mags on the left hip. Same setup every day, everywhere.
