I've actually seen surveys that seem to indicate the upcoming generation is shockingly conservative.

Whether or not the public school system will succeed in reprogramming them before they're old enough to vote remains to be seen.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who have considered the possibility. Send out provocative messaging to enough people, and who knows what kind of loons will crawl out of the woodwork. Initial reports indicate this shooter had serious issues and it might have been part of a family dispute though.
