    What's needed to install transfer switch

    I've had a very gracious offer to help install it so I just want to figure out exactly what I need for the project now that I should be getting the generator itself in a week.

    Here is the information I have found and the components I think I need.

    Ask the person who's doing the install. If you get a list from us and your installer does something a bit different you could be SOL.

        Don't forget to keep your help fed with his/her choice of a meal and well hydrated with his/her favorite brew!! Also a generous gift such as a Marlin 30/30 would make his/her world perfect. Oops that would violate the safe act, glad I caught that before some armchair commando attorneys caught on!! LOL

            sounds like you are going to need 100+ ft of 10 wire
            romex staples

            drywall saw
            naileaters
            hole-hawg, or Timberwolf
            punch set

              I have drywall saw, I have staples, I have some of those whole hawg things. What's punch set and nail eaters for?

                    I'm coming over to watch and help drink the beer, you guys better let me know when you do this.
                    Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

                    I have to bend over too far

                    I get a boner.

                    bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

                    I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

                        I'll come and supervise thughes and make sure that his beer consumption is following proper codes. I'll demonstrate the proper technique as necessary.

                            This has the makings of a party! Maybe we could make this into a shin dig. I can't make it to the Sticky lips get together as I'm heading to Florida to hang my hammock in the swamp.
