That's pretty much how I felt.

Haven't taken test yet but so far I've got to say that I highly recommend the study guides here http://www.kb6nu.com/study-guides/ (Technician pdf is free and General is about $8) and practice exams/flash cards here www.hamstudy.org (all free). Really brought me up to speed in just a few hours. Have been scoring consistent 80s on General practice exam since last night. Feeling pretty good about test tomorrow but I guess we'll see where the rubber meets the road, LOL...

I looked online, test in his area starts at 6 pm. I bet he at least gets general license

Passed Tech and General. They asked me if I wanted to take Extra but didn't. Will take it eventually. Stayed along afterwards and joined the local HAM club as well as ARRL. Now the fun begins...

Oh and as a general you can sign up online somewhere to be an exam proctor for tests like you took today.
