  • Any predator hunters on here. Show me your hunting rigs

Any predator hunters on here? Winter is a tough time for me to go out but I manage to make it out when I can. My current rig is a savage model 10 in 223. I have a dereelight nightmaster mounted to the scope. It is a nice light weight package when plowing through the snow.

i have not really done any predator hunting but want to get into it. some neighbors are having coyote problems and one of the neighbors has experience so hoping i can tag along with him to get my feet wet.

Best way to learn is going with someone with experience. If you don't have anyone to learn from, go during daylight and work into night hunting. You have to be extra careful at night. Learn your hunting propert, know what is behind your target and idenify your target.

slingshot.jpeg Works for me! Got a silencer on it and I meet the safe act max round requirement and I can instantly adjust for velocity and projectile mass.

Sad thing is if you added a wrist brace that would be illegal in NY

Worse in NJ. That twig with a rubber band is illegal!

The only I can think of is my trusty savage with the budget scope. That thing can shoot 12ga shells at ~200 yards and will make them jump once of twice every 10 shots.
The only thing is I need a stock upgrade. The factory stock sucks d!ck. What do you have in mind?

I am thinking about a big money match for any rifle any sight and have a couple of classes. Scoped 10/22, scoped precision rifle and iron/match sight precision. Slow fire prone single round load, 30 shots. Hots and heavy Bock post match
                              I'm thinking around Thanksgiving time
