Who's experienced in trapping??

I was sent a pic from a friends trail cam of some new trap he has. I thought it to be alittle suspect because I've never seen a trap so big before. It is very primitive and I know it's a proven contraption. It was only setup for a few minutes when .....












Does anyone know the legalities of this trap? Is it NYS legal?? What is the bag limit??

Bait is has to be at the back of the trap with the sides blocked or you'll miss a crafty critter.

He explained the critters as slow and festively plump so that may be a reason for the placement of bait???

Possibly placed downwind so a visual was necessary.

Whatever do you mean??? LOL We now may or may not be going. Looked at the attendance from the last show and it may not be worth getting a table. It seems it's more of a flea market then a gun show. Are you the one selling doilies??
