Nice OC!!!!!!! Been out both days and haven't heard a thing, not even any shots near or far! Seeing big tom's all over the place for two weeks leading up to the season. Oh well, watching the woods come alive as the sun begins its climb is always worth the price of admission, restorith my soul.

I walked up to my range loaded shotgun in hand, and there was a big ass tom, raised the shotgun pulled the trigger, and safety was still on. Tom ran off to live another day.

We were in the city, sadly. The two guys whom we let hunt the PA property both reported nothing. I'm surprised - the week before we had been outside doing some yard work, and heard a tom off in the woods. My husband does a pretty good turkey call, and he was drawing the tom in just for fun. Then the dumb dog went and chased him off again. We've seen a big group of them crossing the driveway most mornings, too.
