  • "Rochester" hunting

Amy of you Rochester area guys looking for a hunting partner? Due to some issues I've posted about, I'm on my own for hunting these days.

It's not something I do on a regular basis (not for the lack of interest), but when ya get a hankering to chase some bushy tails or crows, coyotes, or anything else, it's not much fun on your own.

    Anyone?

Tell me how to get my license (links to courses would be nice) and I would definitely consider it. Need to get a new gun though for hunting

There are a couple options for taking the course needed for your license.

USMC, to better answer your question (now that I'm at a computer versus on my phone), getting your hunting license is quite simple. You take a hunter safety course (one of the ones listed in the link I posted), then take the blue card you get after completion to a place that sells hunting licenses (Dick's, GM, Walmart, many town clerks do it as well), or I believe you can even do it online now, though I'm not sure how that process works. Once you have your first license, there's no need for the blue card, so stash it away somewhere in case there's ever an issue, but once you're in the system as having completed it, you should be good to go in each subsequent year.
