  • Some goose hunting picks from a couple years ago

Good times with my father in law on Maryland's eastern shore. I'll be heading back down in December for some more,

how'd you cook em up? I once made a whole roast goose, not realizing the amount of grease that pours out of it. Nearly flooded the place, worth it.

I never get them whole anymore just breasted out. They are greasy lol. I like to keep it simple and throw them in a slow cooker with some soy sauce. I had some jerky made two years ago that was great, have no idea what they mixed it with. I take them to a picker that does all the dirty work. My father in law is in a hunting club and they hunt every day of the season and limit out. So a lot of the birds I shoot I donate to food pantrys in the area. I don't need 20 geese in the freezer lol!
