Here in Rochester there is a place called Braddocks Bay and during the migrations you can see them with a lot of the other birds of prey. Those are some BIG birds!

Am I short stroking or going to fast?
There is a small island in the Niagara River called Strawberry Island. About 4 years ago an Eagle couple settled there and having been raising young ever since. They are so beautiful. I bet people have seen baby Bald Eagles and not even known it. They don't get the white head and tail feathers until they are around 3 years old and the babies are as big as the parents by like 6 months. I have some awesome pictures of they but unfortunately I can't share them on the net because they belong to a friend of mine and he's a professional photographer, So he'll share with me but lets me know not to publish them. I just bought a nice camera (my first nice one) and it has a 32X zoom and takes beautiful shots so maybe I ca get you guys some shots myself.
But yes Chris, They are amazing hunters! I love watching them hunt and listening to them let loose with their war cry.
